Application: MOLCARB™ ACT is widely used in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cosmetic and personal care, as an adsorbent, detoxifying agent and purifying ingredient. It is commonly incorporated into tablets, capsules, powders, face washes, face masks, soaps, oral care products and specialty formulations to adsorb toxins, impurities, excess oils, gases and unwanted substances. Its high adsorption capacity helps support detoxification.

We follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and adhere to international regulatory standards to ensure quality consistency with continuous supply.

SPECIFICATION

#TESTSPECIFICATION - USP
1 Description It occurs as fine, black, odorless, tasteless powder, free from gritty matter.
2 Residue on Ignition Not more than 4.0%.
3 Acid Soluble substances Not more than 3.5%.
4 Chloride Not more than 0.2%.
5 Sulfate Not more than 0.2%.
6 Sulfide The escaping vapors do not darken paper moistened with lead acetate.
7 Cyanogen compounds No blue color is produced.
8 Uncarbonized constituents The filtrate is colorless.
9 Adsorptive power No turbidity is produced.
10 Dyes The difference between the two volumes is not less than 0.7 mL.
11 Reaction The filtrate is colorless and is neutral to litmus.
12 Loss on drying Not more than 15.0%
13 Assay Not less than 98.0% and not more than 101.0% on the as is basis.

PACKAGING

MOLCARB™ ACT is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside and is provided with a barcoded label and a tamper-evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 3 years. It is stored in a tightly closed container.
