3 Solubility It is freely soluble in water, practically insoluble in ethanol (95%).
4 Appearance of solution Solution is clear and colourless.
5 Arsenic Not more than 2 ppm.
6 Calcium A 2.0 % w/v solution, when boiled for 5 minutes, is clear.
7 Iron Not more than 20 ppm.
8 Carbonate PH of solution, when freshly prepared, not more than 8.6.
9 Chlorides Not more than 200 ppm.
10 Sulfates Not more than 150 ppm.
11 Assay Not less than 99.0% and not more than 101.0% of NaHCO3.

PACKAGING

MOLCARB™ SBC is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside having bar-coded label and tamper-evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING 

The shelf life is 5 years. Preserve in well-closed containers.
